Stainless martensitic steel with increased Cr-content for improved corrosion resistance.

This grade is usually supplied in a quenched and tempered condition. Good polishability.

Description

It is a pre-hardened plastic mold steel to 27 – 33 RC. Especially in large molds,

it is preferred because of its ability to be processed quickly thanks to its sulfur content.

Suitable for nitration, induction and flame hardening. Polishability is good. It is magnetic.

APPLICATION AREAS

APPLICATION AREAS

It can be used in molds of corrosive plastics and polymers such as PVC

without the need for chrome or nickel plating. It is also used to make

knives, molds and other parts for the food industry.
